Come join your friends (new and old) in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, May 30th from 3-5 pm at the Dutchess County JCC, located at 110 South Grand Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY. Former Camp Director Beth Hodos and Friends of Segowea Alumni Association will host an afternoon of photos, friends, fun and stories. Come hear about the exciting plans for the furture of Segowea! Please bring any of your favorite camp photos and memorabilia (t-shirts, plaques, medals, certificates, etc.) to share with others. About Friends of Segowea
Friends of Segowea is a group of people dedicated to the continued support of YMCA Camp Wa Wa Segowea. We are run by volunteers and are fully funded through donations, gifts and fund raising efforts. Alumni, family and friends have come together to raise money for improvements to camp infrastructure, and to preserve the tradition and spirit which have helped children become stronger more confident people for almost 100 years.
Camp Wa Wa Segowea has been camping at its current location for over 70 years and many of our buildings and facilities are in need of major repair or replacement. We are currently running a major capital campaign to raise the funds needed to provide a quality place for our campers to play and grow. Please consider making a tax deductible donation today!
