Featuring a 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Kids Run

The Wa Wa Wally Waddle is named after our favorite turtle at Camp Wa Wa Segowea.
Camp Segowea is a residential YMCA Camp which has helped promote outdoor activities and fitness in children for over 90 years.
It is in this spirit that we are holding the 1st Annual Wa Wa Wally Waddle 5K Run/Walk.
The Waddle is a fundraiser for Camp Segowea with all proceeds going to facility construction and renovation.

Race Day Registration and Check in: 8:00-9:30 am
Kids (13 and younger) 1 Mile Run: 10:00 am
5K Run/Walk: 10:30 am
Awards: 11:15 am

Prizes!

  • Prizes for overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male/female finishers

  • Prizes for first Camp Segowea Alumni male/female finishers

  • Ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male/female 10 year age group finishers
    (19 and younger,20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70-79,80+)

  • Beat the Segowea Alumni Turtle Relay Team and win a Pie!
    10 Camp Segowea alumni will dress as Wally the Turtle and run 500 meter relay legs.
    If you finish before the Wally team you'll win a home baked turtle shaped pie!

  • Ribbons for all 1 mile kids run finishers
